The lovely gardens of Napier wineries.

Some wineries are elegant; Salvare opted for farm-like, including an adorable winery-dog.

Wine tasting!

Finally...a wine glass big enough for ME!

Wineries also make gourmet chocolates...

...this is not-so-gourmet. But very Kiwi. Mmmmm Kiwi Poo.

A very modern winery.

Driving the winelands of New Zealand! On the wrong side of the road!

We stopped for lunch at the Trinity Winery.

Duck breast with figs, prepare to please me....

Matt indulges in the pork belly.

Very happy- with duck and wine, how can I not be?

The upscale dining room even has a cat to cuddle.

After lunch, Trinity invited us to the tasting room. Taste wine? Hells yes!!

Driving out of the vineyards.

I'm still not sure why a tasting room needs a swingset, but I am never one to turn down a good slide.

The Silky Oak Chocolate Company! And it has tastings!!

The Easter Bunny has his own bunny-segregated entrance.

The final winery of the day: Mission, a grand lovely estate overlooking the valley.

Enjoying the wines of Mission...
