The Falklands War Memorial (though the islands are called Islas Malvinas in Argentina). This ill-conceived war against Britain in the 1980s is still taken very seriously by Argentina. In fact, this memorial directly faces the British Clock Tower in a statement of defiance. In a "Freedom Fries" moment, everything in Argentina with a British name was renamed. The British Clock Tower is now referred to as the Monumental Tower.
