The Holy Grail of the Recoleta Cemetery: The grave of Evita Peron herself. Evita was an illegitimate child of the Duarte family, and was disowned until she reached her pinnacle as First Lady of Argentina. As a result of her success, she was allowed to be buried in her father's tomb. Recoleta is so exclusive that only the most prominent Argentinians can be buried there. Even Evita's husband, former Argentinian President Juan Peron, couldn't score a grave there. He's buried elsewhere!
