A few hours later, we arrived in hot-as-hell Aswan, a sleepy tourist town on the Nile. We checked into the Keylany Hotel, right off Aswan's main road. This was a real hotel, not a hostel- hotel rooms are so cheap in Aswan that there's no need to stay in a hostel.
