The next morning, we drove an hour south down the Romantic Road to the crown jewel of the Road, Rotenburg od der Tauber (The Red Castle on the Tauber River). We stayed at the most charming little guesthouse, Gastehaus Raidel. It came with a proprietor with a white handlebar mustache and a kitty named Ming Ming. Really.
