Look at me, all cocky. What this photo DOESN'T show is a few moments later: I leaned way over the railing to get a better shot of the mother with her calves. Unbeknownst to anyone on the boat (including the driver), the enormous father from the previous photo got very tired of us hanging around, and swam underwater all the way to our boat. He surfaced with a HUGE growl, about 2 feet from my face. I screamed and nearly lost my camera in his gaping mouth.
