For our final Edinburgh experience, we took a free Ghost Tour through the Last Drop Pub. Edinburgh is famous for its murders and ghosts- "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" was inspired by an Edinburgh serial killer. But one thing I learned on this tour: The term "shitfaced" originated in Edinburgh. Residents used to toss out their chamberpots into the streets at 11pm each night. However, if you were so drunk you forgot to stay off the streets at 11pm, you eventually got...shitfaced.
