On Valentine's Day 2015, during our first weekend living in London, we scoped out the Harry Potter sites in London. This is King's Cross Station, where Harry boarded the Hogwarts Express!

This is Platform 9 3/4 inside King's Cross Station! (note the Hogwarts trolley halfway into the wall!)

Near the West End, this is the exterior filming location for Gringott's Bank- in reality, it's the Australian Embassy.

Later in the month, we scored free tickets to the London Zoo, and this is the Reptile House where Harry spoke in Parseltongue to the snake in the first movie!

The actual snake enclosure from the film!!

But in July, for my birthday, we ventured to the Holy Mecca of Harry Potter Sites in London....The Warner Brothers Studio Tour. I've got my glasses, my Hedwig, and my Gryffindor scarf ready!!

At the Studio Tour!!! BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!!

At the entrance was a plaque stating that this is where the films were created over the course of a decade. Note the handprints in cement.

Young Dan Radcliffe's teeny handprints.

The official entrance queue.

At one bend in the entrance queue was the actual "cupboard under the stairs" set from the films, where Harry lived at the Dursley's.

Since it was my birthday, I (along with several 10-year-olds) got to open the door to the Hogwarts Great Hall!

Opening the door...

...and entering the actual Hogwarts Great Hall!!

The Hogwarts Great Hall. THE ACTUAL SET.

The Gryffindor table, with costumes worn by Harry, Ron, Neville, and even Colin Creevy.

Ten points for Gryffindor!

At the Professors' Table, there were Hagrid and Argus Filch costumes.

McGonagall's and Dumbledore's costumes at the Professors' Table.

Boooo....the Slytherin table, with Draco's costume.
