This is our very first real holiday post-COVID: 4 days in Cadaqués on the Costa Brava.
A view from over the rooftops to the sea.
This photo was taken from the Cadaqués church, high up on the town hill.
JONESES CONQUER CADAQUÉS
Cadaqués is a small seaside fishing town, famous for its picturesque white buildings.
It's also famous as a sailing and boating town.
Artists flocked to Cadaqués in the early 20th century (Dalí lived here), and beautiful street art covers alley fuse boxes, manholes, and walls.
The medieval alleyways of Cadaqués are just stunningly gorgeous. White and blue colors, and all the flowers, feel like Greece.
Cadaqués is also famous for food. El Bullí was once nearby; the former chefs now own Disfrutar in Barcelona, and the much cheaper Compartir in Cadaqués. We had an amazing 13-course dinner here, beginning with tomato & mango salad.
2nd course: Marinated sardines. Compartir means "to share," and each course was served on a single plate for both of us.
