With the November terrorist attack, Paris was eerily empty. On a beautiful Christmas week evening, we had the Eiffel Tower to ourselves.

We arrived in Strasbourg, the "Capital of Christmas."
Strasbourg is a small city; big enough to have corporate offices and department stores, but small enough to navigate for a weekend. This is the department store Galleries Lafayette, all spruced up for Christmas.
Strasbourg has TEN Christmas markets. This is the central Christmas market in the Town Square.
Let the mulled wining commence!!! Just 2 euro and soooo yummy.
